"Treatment for bladder pain"

About: Royal Hospital for Women / Physiotherapy Department

(as the patient),

I received treatment from a pelvic floor physiotherapist for my bladder pain. The treatment was helpful physically and the physio also helped me deal with the mental load and elements of the pain. I found the physio was extremely caring and listened to me.

Dear travellerrc89,

Thank you for sharing your experience with physiotherapy at The Royal Hospital for Women.

Managing the load of pain in the pelvis, the physical symptoms and their impact on daily life, can definitely be tricky, and finding the right treatment can take a long time!

So, it is wonderful to hear that Physiotherapy made a difference for you and your bladder pain, no doubt your story may help other women with similar pain and pelvic floor conditions find the right care.

Thanks for sharing your kind words about the care you received, the physio team will be so grateful to hear how much they helped

Many thanks

Hannah
