Recently, I developed an abnormal heart rhythm while visiting Carnarvon. When I went to the ED department it was explained to me that cardioversion (an electric shock to the heart after being given an anaesthetic) would be the best treatment to sort this problem. At first I found this prospect rather stressful but I have to say the kindness, friendliness and professionalism of all the nurses involved as well as Dr Joe and Dr Waiel was very impressive. The treatment was completely successful and I was discharged later that day.  Every one involved in my care was fantastic, thank you for such great service!
