About: Stawell Medical Centre

(as a service user),

I’ve been living here for many years and I phoned the medical centre recently and it says it’s closed. The medical centre has never been closed in all the years I’ve lived here. In my opinion, that’s what’s gone wrong. Another time, they organized a pop up meeting and I left a message with the receptionist for the CEO to contact me and they never did. I believe people want to have their questions answered. I’m waiting for the CEO to contact me.

Thank you for providing your story. I certainly appreciate how important it is to be able to access one's GP in a timely manner and I am sorry this happened to you.

The nationwide challenges in access to GP's is regrettably impacting the Stawell Medical Centre. Nonetheless, the Stawell Medical Centre continues to strive for an accessible and sustainable service despite these challenges.
