"My partner's operation been cancelled in Stawell"

My partner's knee opp got cancelled at stawell last year with their surgeon. Stawell then sent my partner to Horsham now that's been cancelled, now they've been told they have to go to Ballarat for their knee.

Finally got a appointment to see specialist in Horsham then they rang my partner the day before their appointment and was told the Dr was sick so would have to wait 6 weeks. Then got a phone call from my partner's Dr in stawell told, they had to come in only to be told that the surgeon in Horsham doesn't want to take on someone else's patient. So my partner will have to go to Ballarat to a different surgeon we don't even know who, they definitely don't want to go to Dr in Horsham after this .

My partner's had enough and I'm getting worried about their mental health that has gotten really bad, but they refuse to tell their Dr as I believe they'll just put my partner on more medication.

I just want advice as I'm feeling useless and don't know if there's anything I can do to help my partner get some answers.

I just wish we could afford to go private and go back to the original surgeon, I believe they always helped, my partner really liked them.

I feel, do they even care what there are apparently doing playing with people's lives, medical health & mental health, inconvenience and costly now having to travel. I'm disgusted in what they are seemingly doing to our little country hospitals that I feel we badly need put back to being able to look after us again please.
