About: Kyneton Hospital / Perioperative Services

(as the patient),

This was my first procedure of any kind. I was terrified. Especially when they wheeled me into the theatre and I saw all the big machines. I have an anxiety disorder and a deep (and warranted) distrust of people but  everyone I dealt with was so understanding and calming it made things so much easier. Especially the theatre nurse that held my hand as I squirmed from the needle and the anesthetist, they were both so warm and comforting. I won’t dread having to repeat the procedure in three years time thanks to them and I hope I get people that are just as professional and kind as I did this time. They made a scary experience much less scary.

Dear sigmamx34,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know that you had such a positive experience with us.

Your encouraging feedback will help other people who may be fearful about seeking surgical treatment.

Kind regards
