"Birth under MGP5"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Maternity

(as the patient),

Due to availability, I only got into MGP at 36 weeks! Straight away, I felt more supported, cared for, and listened to than any other time in my pregnancy.

I only had one antenatal appointment before the birth, however that was enough to calm my nerves and build confidence!

With the help of the amazing midwives, I was able to have the unmedicated, peaceful birth I had dreamed of having.

The postnatal visits were also really special, learning how to bath, swaddle, feed and soothe my baby from the comfort of my own home.

I'd highly recommend the MGP program to anyone, and are forever thankful for the amazing work these midwives do.

Dear hadarjc74,

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback on your experience with the Midwifery Group Practice (MGP), and congratulations on the birth of your baby!

I am so glad to hear that that, although late in your pregnancy, you found such support and care from the MGP 5 team. It is such a great testament to our team to hear you describe that, with their support, you had “the birth you dreamed of having”. We strive to provide comprehensive high-quality care, and I’m so pleased to hear of your great experience, both during your birth and in the postnatal visits.

Thanks again for sharing your story - I will ensure your lovely feedback is provided to the team.

Kind regards,

Barbara
