"The wonderful staff at Macquarie Ward, Royal Hospital for Women"

About: Royal Hospital for Women / Macquarie Ward

(as a carer),

Hello to the wonderful staff at the Macquarie Ward, Royal Hospital for Women

From hadarjd98

I wish to thank the staff for their obvious care and professional work, whilst caring for her.

Many of you obviously went above and beyond what would be expected, and I noted some nurses coming in to say 'Hi' but staying to administer care and help, when they were not actually looking after her.

I shed a few tears of gratitude watching you all, whilst I stood like Boo Radley in the corner, and I hope I made it clear that you are all wonderful.

I cannot thank you all, to the extent I would like. So, in no particular order:

Liz

Erin

Opor (the ward custodian, who went above and beyond. We hope your next position has many plants)

Yasmin

Freya

Jackie

Hee

Kate

Cath

Miriam

Lily

Regina

Crystal

Felicity

Mel

Alison

Annie

I started to write an epithet for each of you, however, they all started to be similar, so here are the comments, for you all to share:

'the first nurse to care for her, and who started the March of the Amazing Nurses'

'who deserves an Order of Australia'

'professional, efficient, with a heart of gold'

'the colleen with an enclyclopedic flair' I wonder who this refers to... ;) ?

'the cheeky one'

'another cheeky one, and also very witty and funny'

'whose name rings true' Guess who?

Then, there are the doctors and the Prof:

Angela

Rebecca

Charmian

Emily

Dr Ramanand

If I have missed anyone, it is due to the overwhelming circumstances.

You guys rock!

Sincerely

hadarjd98

Dear hadarjd98

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such lovely comments. Your positive feedback is really valuable as we are always looking to ensure we provide the best possible patient care and experience. This of course extends to carers who are so important in the care of their loved ones. We want to ensure carers have a positive experience.

Your post will be shared with the wonderful staff you have mentioned and all staff working in these areas, who I know will really appreciate your lovely feedback.

Regards

Victoria
