I am currently an outpatient and earlier this year I had an accident, and I completely broke my ankle and dislocated, and I also double fractured my shoulder.
After eight weeks of recovery, I commenced my outpatient physiotherapy at Osborne Park Hospital (OPH), Therapy Hub.
I cannot praise the staff and this facility enough as I was able to visit with ease as when I was going into the city for my follow up appointments it was rather difficult and stressful as my elderly mother was my carer at this time. The OPH facility has ample parking for patients and carers and the Therapy Hub access and drop off points are great and very safe, and both my mother and me were grateful for this at the time.
The care I have received from my physiotherapist has been tremendous, supportive and are always very thorough and considerate to my concerns I am having at the time, and always keeping me informed of my recovery stages. My care plan has been paced well and I am now 4 months down the track and feeling much stronger and independent and without the support of the OPH facility and staff I would not have been able to attend as an independent patient.
I don't think I could've managed to be where I am currently with my recovery at the moment without this supportive caring and accommodating staff at this great facility.
This Therapy Hub facility is a must for the inner northern suburbs to ease stress on patients like me, so I can be the best version of myself after the care provided here and feel capable and independent to manage my own care by visiting this facility.
