My daughter woke me at 2:15am with severe pains in her lower abdomen that extended into her chest. After a few minutes I decided to take her to the urgent care department at ORH. RN Kim and EN Lauren looked after my daughter. I felt that both nurses were brilliant in their care. I found they were professional, calm, reassuring and thorough.
My Emergency Doctor was activated and between the doctor, my daughter, her mum and the nurses a plausible diagnosis of a possible ruptured ovarian cyst was reached with recommendation for immediate and future actions decided. I want to commend the nurses on their, I feel, compassionate and competent help. MED was also more effective than I had anticipated.
