"Antenatal assessment unit"

About: Armadale Hospital / Birth Suite (and Antenatal Assessment Unit)

(as the patient),

I had had some concerning symptoms arise early on a sunday morning.

Brielle the midwife on the end of phone line was lovely and helpful in her guidance on what to do and Phil the midwife who assessed me was beyond amazing, very reassuring, bright and bubbly. He made me feel safe and like my concerns were heard and not a waste of time as i am still early on in my pregnancy.

Dear Vetnurse41021,

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience with us. I am very sorry to hear that you were experiencing some concerns with your pregnancy, I can only imagine what a frightening and worrying time this would have been for you, especially in the early stages of pregnancy.

It fills me with a great sense of pride and encouragement however to read that our amazing and compassionate midwives you encountered on the day were able to navigate you through the assessment and provide reassurance to you when you needed it most.

At Armadale Kalamunda Group (AKG) we are extremely proud of our staff and the way they demonstrate such care and compassion, and I’ll be sure to share your story with all involved.

I do hope that you are recovering well and wish you all the very best in future health.

Kind regards,

Helen Fullarton

Acting Executive Director
