"The care I received was beyond amazing"

I recently gave birth at The Royal Women’s Hospital Randwick and I want to express my deepest gratitude to the beautiful midwives that I had the absolute pleasure of guiding and supporting me throughout my pregnancy and my birth.

Romany looked after me throughout my whole pregnancy; I think she is the kindest, most caring and compassionate midwife, who helped me overcome trauma from my first birth. She helped me learn to advocate for myself and was truly professional and I feel clearly loves her job. This shone through every time we met and I cannot begin to express how much Romany impacted my journey to make it the most positive journey it could be.

Marie, Tess and Elly (apologies if I have misspelt any names) were the amazing midwives that looked after me throughout my whole birth experience. I went into this birth feeling scared and vulnerable but these ladies helped me feel empowered and gave me the most beautiful experience that I desperately craved. These women cared, supported and guided me throughout a life changing moment and I will be forever grateful. I believe we need more women like this! I feel honoured that I shared the most magical experience of my life with these amazing midwives.
