"Living for the better life"

About: Lives Lived Well – Nowra (Nana Muru)

(as the patient),

I have been dealing with Alcohol Addition for most my life, I had noticed that my life was out of my hands and the addition was taking over my family, job and life in general.
I knew it was time to get help as i cant do this on my own. I found help with the local Lives Lived Well. I am incredibly grateful for the new knowledge and understanding given to me by lives lived well to help me live a better life.
Nurse Deb took me under her wing and went through detox with me, she is very kind and patient,  she often has a heart-to-heart talk with me,  with her help i have changed a lot. I feel deep respect for Deb and all the other staff facilitators of lives lived well Nana Muru - Nowra. I feel really lucky to have come across this program. 

I have stopped drinking for a quite while now and am looking forward to what the future holds.

I have passed your feedback on to the manager of the staff that you mention, so they can hear your kind words and it will no doubt bring a smile to their face.

I also want to acknowledge the self awareness on your part that it took to come to terms that drinking was problematic and the courage it took to pick up that phone, make the call and keep applying yourself to that until you came in. It takes grit and determination to face that challenge, but you did it, and I have every confidence you will continue to learn and grow as you apply these new learnings to your life. Good on you!!
