Recently I attended the Geraldton Regional Hospital to have bloods done after the GP visit.
I found the phlebotomist was lovely and proficient.
I was disappointed with the apparent lack of care of the two rooms which is was in.
The room where the blood was taken had a small hole in the wall just above the floor.
When I went to the toilet to obtain the urine speciment, on lifting the seat for more room to perform the urine catch I noticed that the underneath part of the seat was broken the there was rust on the metal fitting.
The metal toilet roll holder was rusted.
The lid of the toilet reservoir was held in place with tape.
I visited the parliamentary member's office in Dongara. The efficient female employee directed me to this site.
Thank you for allowing me to document my concern.
"Condition of the facility."
