"Care in the ED"

About: Sale Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

omg I tamed a stick into my eye and this is just after I spent big bucks on cataract surgery, I was very worried about the outcome but then I met Louise at ED reception, she put my mind at rest and I was quickly seen by the nursing staff, I felt they were just as caring and very attentive, I’m sorry I can’t recall their names but they were on shift in the afternoon that day.

They were so busy, I like to listen to everything that happens around me and this meant that I know that I was no one special individual…I felt they treated everyone with the same care and respect and this was mirrored back to them.

Thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and support staff and especially Louise…for not only the well appreciated sandwiches and coffee!

PS: my eye is back to 20:20 vision
