"Breach of patient medical information"

About: Broome Health Campus / Emergency Department

Hello

I write this using the WA care opinion website contact form.

Recently, I discovered a medical practitioner was seemingly the source of my medical information being freely given to someone else in Broome community, of which I live, without my consent.

This person and myself use BRAMS and Broome Regional Hospital for medical attention and care.

I would like to request a meeting with Broome ER department and certain specialist who I believe is currently based in Broome Hospital.

I believe a doctor in your establishment leaked my information to another patient/Broome resident.

As advised by this person via their biological parent.

I feel there was no doctor which I gave my consent to in Broome Regional Hospital to divulge to this other person my medical information.

Please advise me: ......

1) copy of the correspondence from me indicating such action be taken.

2) Broome regional hospital procedure from this point as to how my complaint is to be dealt with
