"Colonoscopy at Kyneton Health"

About: Kyneton Hospital / Perioperative Services

(as the patient),

I had a colonoscopy recently and it is the third one I have had at this hospital. The first time I felt the hospital appeared to be not coping terribly well. But this time I felt the way in which I was treated was brilliant, the staff attitude and the staff morale just seemed so much better. I don’t know what they’ve been doing, but I feel they’ve seemed to have got a grip.

I found the atmosphere is so much nicer and the nurses are taking to each other as they by, the morale just seems to have really picked up and I wanted them to know that I feel it is noticeable and in my experience it has a made a difference.

Dear filinggy97,

Thank you for your comments, I am pleased you have visibly noticed a change in the culture at Kyneton Theatre.
There have been some changes over the last 6 - 12 months along with some work being done on the culture of the team which has evidently had a positive impact.

Thank you for highlighting this issue as it is difficult when our patients note a team that is not as harmonious as we would like.

I hope the experience you have had continues on for others visiting for a procedure.

Kind Regards

Susan Jennings

Executive Director Clinical Operations
