(as a relative),

My pregnant wife was rushed to hospital recently due to intense pain. Nothing to do with childbirth

The nurses doctors and midwife's have been the most kind and caring people I have ever met. 

My wife was so uncomfortable and literally crying with pain. 

I was only around for the midwife's but they honestly blew me away with their kindness. I feel these amazing human beings need to be recognised for their expertise.

I hope your wife is well and has recovered, pain is a stressful experience to have, especially during pregnancy.
