I’m a self confessed Meth addict. It’s more than a daily occurrence and it’s really a physical dependency. I knew about Lives Lived Well already, however being caught by police for a glass pipe, then going to court and doing a drug diversion phone call via LLW. This is when I was told about the Day patient Rehab. I’m not one for rehabs, people complaining about their issues .
But this is different!
I haven’t been to other rehab programs but I am currently in a Living without violence course with another provider and I found the differences are huge.
Lives Lived Well Buranda branch provided an open forum where you can easily ask questions for the information provided to you.
The class time actually goes really quickly .
Biscuits would be something I would add.
The staff have the knowledge and overall skills to be able to assist the people attending. I felt I always had a voice and on a couple of occasions when I needed a bit more help they would work with me at the end of the session.
The information is also provided in an easy to read and understandable manner suited for all levels of education.
Special praise I feel should be given to Courtney who really assisted me.
