"Emergency treatment for anaphylaxis"

About: Wonthaggi Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I presented to Bass Coast Health following an anaphylactic reaction.  The staff were great from presentation to discharge.  I felt well informed of all procedures they were doing and medications given.  Nona in triage stayed back to complete my triage at the end of her shift, she was caring and informative. The nurse that took over my care, Ebeny was very attentive and helpful. I had a very short admission to the short stay unit before I was discharged home.

Dear dancexb99,

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience. Anaphylaxis can be really frightening, and we are all very pleased that your experience was so positive. We will make sure we pass on your post to the team, and I hope you are continuing to recover well. All the best, Jan.
