"Breaking my ankle"

About: Kalgoorlie Health Campus / Emergency Department St John Ambulance WA

(as the patient),

My journey commenced with breaking my ankle, this changed the course of my day and the weeks to come. So I was not happy about that and the pain was excruciating.

The ambulance team were so professional and helpful. I was brought to ED and the Dr Marcus plus nursing team Tanika and Fiona were superb with assisting me. I spent a week on surgical ward, and this is where I wish to compliment the nursing staff and the orthopaedic medical staff, Mr Ian and then Mr Stephens. Their professionalism and care were of the highest standards. They kept me informed regularly. I was treated so well, everyone was pleasant. The PSAs were terrific and friendly. The menu lady who came around daily was a delight, therefore I would like to thank them very much for taking such great care of me.
