I joined CMP late at 34.5 weeks, as I couldn’t shake the feeling of wanting to homebirth. I’m so glad I did. I was accepted a few days later and had a midwife appointment at home a few days after that.
From my first appointment I knew I’d made the right decision and was very much at ease for the rest of my pregnancy. I felt supported in what I wanted with each appointment, and there was no pressure leading up to my birth which was 10 days passed my due date. I had an intense but amazing birth, just making it into the pool as it was still filling up. My daughter arrived 1 hour later and I was able to lift her up and onto my chest just as I had hoped for. The 2 midwives at my birth were amazing, as were the other 2 midwives I had also dealt with prior to my birth. I would highly recommend CMP to anyone! Thank you Steph, Malita, Wendy & Alice
