"My autistic son"

About: Esperance Health Campus / Ambulatory Care/Outpatients

(as a parent/guardian),

He had to get dressings changed a few times and the staff at ambulatory care were so wonderful with him. He got excited when he knew he was going there, I could even let his support workers take him, he didn’t stress neither did I . I feel a great group of people, can’t thank them enough

Dear eridanusnc45

Your story really warmed my heart, what could have been uncomfortable visits for your son was understood by our caring staff, which saw the visits become more of an adventure. We will share your story with our ambulatory care staff and other staff at the hospital, as this shows how much caring and empathy can impact on our patient's journey.

On behalf of the ambulatory care team and the management team at the Esperance Hospital, thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of our service.

Kind regards

Margaret Smillie
