Excellent nursing care

Last week, I witnessed the caring staff at Northampton Hospital ED, specifically the nurses, Josna & Sheena look after my relative who had collapsed and required emergency treatment. I felt these nurses showed excellent nursing skills and capabilities.

I believe without their expertise the outcome may have been very different. My relative required RFDS evacuation to Perth. Being such a small hospital I feel we are really lucky to have staff with worldly medical knowledge and experience who it seems obviously have the ability to manage whatever comes through the door.

I was very proud to read your story of how expertly they handled a serious situation. In small hospitals such as Northampton we rely on the nursing staff to provide critical emergency care in some challenging circumstances. On this occasion Josna & Sheena have excelled in that care and put your relative on the path to recovery. I have already acknowledged Josna & Sheena and the wider Northampton team for all they do in keeping their community safe.

I do hope you relative is back in the community and continuing to recover.
