Dear festivitygh63

Thank you so much for taking the time to post about your recent attendance at the Emergency Department (ED) at the Kalgoorlie Health Campus.

Firstly, I hope you are feeling better now. If you don’t improve, or if you are feeling worse, please don’t hesitate to represent to the ED.

Whilst some conditions require patients to be admitted into hospital from the ED, there are many that following a review and starting the initial treatment, patients can head home. As long as they continue to monitor their symptoms and return if they get worse.

I will make sure the team in ED are aware of your positive experience and to thank them for the great job they do for the people in our community.

If there is anything else we can be of help with, please don’t hesitate to reach out on 9080 5817 or email Alicia.Michalanney@health.wa.gov.au.

Kind regards, Alicia
