"Staff compliments"

I would like to thank and give a compliment to both Sally and Calina from the Renal Transplant team. They both went above and beyond their duties, and in both working together, helped potentially save my Mums life just through a life-saving conversation over the phone. That conversation then prompted us to take the next steps and enabled us to get my Mum emergency dialysis. 

I would like to thank and give a compliment to Ivan from the Renal Social Work team. He went above and beyond his duties in helping my Mum. Nothing was too hard for him. Ivan’s customer service was exceptional and he took the time to answer every question I had. I felt he was the only person who did what he said he would do in an efficient time. It helped me to have trust in him as he did everything he said he would do and more. If I had sent him an email it was actioned that day, he made things happen quickly, and passed on any info I needed passed on.  Ivan was in contact with us every step of the way, either in person, over the phone and via email, as well as followed up everything that needed to be followed up. He even visited my Mum personally in her ward and during dialysis to check in and make sure she was okay. It is very evident that Ivan takes pride in his job and has so much compassion, empathy and genuinely cares about his patients wellbeing. I cannot thank him enough for all his help during my Mums admission as an inpatient and also outpatient.
