I moved to Margaret River from Melbourne recently and found out the day before we left that I was pregnant! It was a bit of a shock and I was nervous as I’d had my first pregnancy and birth in Vic at another hospital. Together with my GP that I found in Margs, and my MGP Midwife Melony, I had a really positive antenatal care experience, through to my birth and the first few weeks of having my baby. Mel was so patient, kind and friendly, I always felt cared for and confident to turn to her for anything I needed pre and post baby!
Vanessa another midwife from Margaret River Hospital was also great. All in all I had a positive experience and having the same provider care for throughout my pregnancy and beyond was great! WA dep of health have something good going on down here! Mel was a legend I feel any woman would be lucky to have her as their midwife!
