I’d like to say thank you to Missy and Ayla-May in the radiology department.

A couple of months ago I had a fall and went through ED where they sent me for an xray. After the xray the doctor wanted an ultrasound but it was the weekend so I had to wait for the following week.

When I presented on the Monday, Ayla-May arranged to squeeze me in at the time and Missy agreed to do the scan.

The scan showed I had torn ligaments that would need to be seen by a specialist. They found out the specialist was in town at the time and worked some magic to get me an appointment.

Without their efforts I believe I would’ve been sitting waiting for months to see someone.

Thank you Missy and Ayla-May for going above and beyond for me. I know I’m not the only one because when I speak to other people around town they have said the same thing about you guys.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about the service you received at Derby Hospital. It sounds like your timing couldn't have been better and I am glad to hear the team were able to support you through accessing the care you needed.

I have passed your feedback on to the team who I am sure will be very appreciative of your compliment.

I hope your torn ligaments are well on the mend and you have a good recovery (as a Physio myself, make sure you do any exercises they provide!)
