"Positive birth Program Esperance"

About: Esperance Health Campus / Maternity care

(as the patient),

My husband and I recently attended the two day class in Esperance.

We are first time parents - so really have no clue what we are doing.
It was hosted by one of the midwives here, Skye. She also had a student midwife with her Eli.

We really found the course helpful and it has made us definitely think about a few more things, and helped us make some decisions about what we want for our birth.

Skye was great - she is so passionate and I believe really loves her job - she delivers the presentation so well - because it is a lot of info to take in!

We will be going to Perth for our baby but the course has really opened our eyes - so just wanted to say thanks.

Really think this course could benefit a lot of parents so I hope it continues!

Dear indiake73

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts on the positive birthing course, Skye and Eli were very appreciative of your comments. The team have had a busy weekend as they also held a stall at the Esperance show presenting information on the services provided locally by our midwifes. They are all very passionate about the care they provide and it is really great to see that mothers have options, and even if not birthing here in Esperance, you can still bond with a midwife for the support and care required.

We hope all goes well with the birth of your baby and don’t forget you can reach out upon your return, the team can offer advice and support along with our colleagues at community health.

Kind regards
Margaret
