About: Lives Lived Well – Nowra (Nana Muru)

(as a service user),

From 13 - 14yrs old and onwards due to circumstances life didn't go as planned fell into a life of drugs and abuse living in Sydney

Got away from Sydney and moved to west then eventually ended up here in Sanctuary Point we I live now with my partner  and heard about Lives Lived Well through my GP and made a call to seek support started to see a counsellor at Nana Muru and then started to attend the day program. previous attempted at rehab did not work for me.

Now attended the Nana Muru day program I have found it non judgemental supportive the staff I saw were very supportive the program has given me insight and knowledge and more determent to keep on recovery journey.

Firstly, I want to commend your strength and resilience in sharing your journey. It's evident that you've faced significant challenges in your life, but your decision to seek help and embark on a recovery journey is truly commendable.

Moving from Sydney to Sanctuary Point, and finding support through Lives Lived Well, is a testament to your determination to turn your life around. It's heart-warming to hear that you've found the Nana Muru day program to be a non-judgmental and supportive space. Supportive staff can make a world of difference in the recovery process, and I'm glad that you've had a positive experience with them.

Your willingness to share your story can also inspire and give hope to others who may be going through similar challenges. Remember that recovery is a journey, and it may have its ups and downs, but your newfound insight and knowledge, as well as your determination, will be valuable assets along the way.
