I am a recovering stroke patient who attends rehabilitation treatment at Mamang Bunbury Outpatients at the homemakers centre in Bunbury. On numerous occasions while undergoing my physiotherapy rehab in the gym other therapists will conduct interviews that cover very interment, personal subject matter with their patient separated only by a paper curtain screen in the corner of the gym.
I find this situation extremely uncomfortable. You can not help but hear what is being said. I can only imagine what it must be like for the patient in the interview having to discuss the matter they are divulging knowing that the people on the other side of the screen cannot help but hear.
My therapists Pat & Mo do their utmost to conduct themselves in a professional manner and divert attention from the situation but it is really unavoidable.
"Lack of office space-suitable interview areas"
