"ER lack of care"

About: Albany Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I recently I was BIBP and sedated under restraints. 5 hours later I was DC. When I asked my nurse how I was supposed to get home because I had no wallet or phone or anything on me I recall they said that they've talked to a nurse and they've said that is not our concern. I told the nurse it's 30 degrees outside, I feel I'm going to die, I'm still so sedated.

So I was DC and walked around ta nearby suburb for 5 hours sedated, disorientated, dehydrated trying to find my friend's house that lives in that suburb.

After 5 hours, I returned to ER and begged for a cabcharge, which I was granted.

As yet there is no discharge summary available to me on MyHealth record.

My lawyer needs this Discharge Summary for evidence in a court appearance soon.

Dear attendantgs95,

I am sorry for the difficulties you encountered when you presented to the Albany Health Campus Emergency Department and I hope that you are feeling better. As the coordinator of your care your GP will have any discharge summary documentation that you require.

Yours sincerely

Update posted by attendantgs95 (the patient)

Jenny,

I have been to my GP twice.

There is no discharge summary.

I have contacted FOI, they have told me to put in an application.
