(as a parent/guardian),

We presented to the Meekatharra ED department recently. Was greeted by a lovely nurse who assessed both of our children very thoroughly and put them both at ease . Once they were assessed they were moved to the ED bays and then assessed once more by the doctor. I cannot articulate how impressed I was with the whole experience. Both nurses, who's names I didn't catch on the day and the doctor on duty are all assets to WA health. I received a telephone call a few days later from the GP to follow up on the condition of our children. They were both on the mend and were ready to enjoy the rest of the school holidays.

It was fantastic to hear that you had a pleasant experience at Meekatharra’s Emergency Department, due to the kindness and thorough assessment completed by the nurses and doctor. I was also pleased to read that you received a follow up and felt that your children were well cared for.

I also agree that all our staff at Meekatharra are an asset to the community and they represent the great service that WA Country Health can deliver. Your positive experience will be passed on to the Meekatharra team and their efforts celebrated.
