I am in my 60s and I am in a wheelchair, I live alone in Phillip island Victoria, in a self contained unit, with carers that are with me 24/7 to help me with my daily needs. I would like to share my experience with you about Wonthaggi dental hospital.
Back in April this year I had a really bad tooth ache, I rang the hospital to see if they could get me in the answer was yes, I informed them that I was in a wheelchair that was not a problem, I phoned for a maxi cab and proceeded to the dental hospital which takes 40min to get there.
On arrival filled in paperwork and met my dentist Rose, they hoisted me into the dental chair. They proceeded to X-ray and found all of my top teeth had decay in them and need to come out so the process started.
Some of the extraction where easy the others had to be removed surgically and stitches in the mouth, at no stage did they hurt me always checking that I had no pain. My journey with the dentist has now ended and I look forward to having a new denture fitted, For a person that hated dentist i can only sing high praise for the Wonthaggi dental hospital they made me feel so comfortable, and the staff were excellent. I highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you for my experience.
