(as the patient),

I have had several falls after 3 knee replacements. My right knee had to be done twice and I subsequently got golden staph in the wound which has resulted in a lot of adhesions and one leg shorter than the other. I have had 5 falls which have resulted in head wounds, stitches and broken ribs.

The six week course of exercises has helped with my confidence and balance. I am encouraged to do further exercise in a review class.

I thought the staff I saw in the physio department were very encouraging and informative. I liked the information package and the help aids given re diet, exercise, mental stability as we age etc.

Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback about Busselton Hospital's Physiotherapy Rehabilitation groups. You’ve certainly been on a substantial journey with your knee replacements, and having falls can be a confidence-shaking experience.

So glad to hear during the exercise classes you were safely challenged and able to improve your confidence and balance. Its fantastic you are also taking the healthy lifestyle messages on board too.

Our Physiotherapy team is very knowledgeable, professional and will always encourage you to achieve your rehab goals. Your positive feedback is appreciated and will be passed on to them.
