"Outpatient clinic nurse"

About: Kalgoorlie Health Campus / Kalgoorlie Outpatient Clinic

(as the patient),

After having 2 toes removed in Perth and happily returning home, I unfortunately got an infection in my foot and had to return to Perth for immediate attention. I was there for another 2 weeks and once again returned home with a gaping hole in my right side of my foot, attatched to a Vac machine. Up steps Resmi!

I am very happy to say, Resmi has done such a great job with my foot dressings twice a week, along with assistants helping and Resmi, training other nurses in my dressings as well. So good to watch as people are learning about a new machine, a new method.

My gaping wound has majorly shrunk with new flesh growing rapidly and the skin coming closer together. Only another week or two and my foot will hopefully be all together.

Thank you Resmi for your expertise and knowledge.......I am very happy with all the service from the outpatients service and the staff there.

Thank you Resmi and staff!

In great appreciation.

Dear handsetkr87,

Thank you for taking the time to give feedback to Resmi and our team in outpatients. It sounds like you have been on a long and difficult journey, I hope you are now coming through this.

At Kalgoorlie Health Campus, we deliver 60,000 outpatients appointments a year to our community and every patient can have different needs, each time they are cared for, which means our team are always learning and adapting.

I was so pleased to be able to pass on your kind words and positive feedback, to Resmi and the team. It will have brightened their day beyond measure.

I hope things continue to progress smoothly for you now. Please don't hesitate to contact the team in Outpatients or myself at Alicia.Michalanney@health.wa.gov.au if you need to.

Kind regards Alicia
