"ED visit to Busselton Hospital"

About: Busselton Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

My 7 year old son managed to give himself a nasty gash just before bedtime, it wasn't serious but pretty scary for him and stressful for us. The triage nurse, fast track Doctor (Dr Dave) and nurse in fast track and the main dept when he came through for medication and nitrous oxide were all wonderful and made it as quick and painless as possible and most importantly managed my Son's stress about the whole scenario really well. Plan and options for treatment were explained every step of the way, wonderful service thanks so much

Dear marsgs64,

Thanks for taking the time to write in Care Opinion, the staff really do appreciate getting feedback.

I do hope that your son is recovering well and his wound is healing. I understand how traumatic it can be for a young child to come into hospital and receive treatment. Not always pleasant, especially for parents too.

I will pass on your appreciation to the staff involved.

Your Sincerely

Caroline Booker
