Our dear 100 year old parent was in palliative care for 5 days in Wheelan Ward

Tilly, Charlie and Linda looked after Mum.  

They are the most beautiful, caring nurses

We were so Privileged to have had our parent looked after by these Angels. They not only looked after my parent but we were cared for as well.  So much compassion. 

Unfortunately our very ill parent spent 3 days in emergency before they could find them a bed. 

Again we can’t thank the Staff and the girls enough.

Thank you for your feedback regarding the care provided to your mum following her admission to the Palliative Care unit/Whelan ward at Peel Health Campus.

As the Chief Executive Officer of Peel Health Campus, feedback such as yours reaffirms the fantastic staff working with us. I have asked the manager of the Whelan ward to relay your kind words to the team and to ensure the staff you have made specific mention to, are made aware of the impact they had on your mum and her family in what was a distressing time for you all. I am sorry that your mum had to remain in the Emergency Department for several days prior to her transfer to the ward.
