"WACHS birth education - Positive Birth program"

About: Bunbury Hospital / Maternity

(as a service user),

The various Positive Birth programs offered by WACHS (WA Country Health services) are highly valuable. The Positive Birth and 4th Trimester class made me feel confident, calm and prepared for the birth of my first child. They provided so much relevant and evidence-based information and prepared women to advocate for themselves and their preferences during birth. They are also a great resource for partners who want to support the mother during birth, even going as far as providing cheat sheets.

All classes were delivered by passionate and experienced midwives who were excellent at conveying the information.

The ability to attend telehealth classes was vital to me as I felt a lot more comfortable in my own company than a classroom with others.
