I am writing this story after spending an entire week in hospital after the birth of my baby.

I was lucky enough to be accepted into MGP and I honestly cannot thank them enough for their support throughout my entire pregnancy. Jacqui, Alison and Emma were all fantastic, kind and caring, going what I believe is above and beyond to make sure me and my future family have the best outcome possible.

I ended up having multiple complications and medical concerns during my pregnancy but every little detail was followed up closely by all three midwives. I’m sure there was a lot of effort and hard work involved behind the scenes so that I could get the best care possible.

Thank you to Jacqui for starting the process of care for my mental health so that I would be in the best state of mind for my baby. And following my journey closely from the beginning and being there until we arrived home.

Thank you to Alison for picking up the detail that you did and ensuring I saw the appropriate health professionals to get it sorted asap.

And last but not least, a big thank you to Emma for being there for the birth of our baby and being so genuinely kind and caring during the last few months of the pregnancy. I also cannot thank you enough for everything you did afterwards as well. You really have made an indelible impact on our lives, we will never forget you.

We honestly don’t know where we’d be without all three midwives doing the work that they did. I wish to send them my deepest gratitude from the bottom of my heart. We would be in a very different position if it weren’t for MGP.

And to all the midwives at 1 South for taking care of us for an entire week, we are also very grateful for your care given our circumstances.

I would like to explicitly say to extend our thanks to everyone mentioned in the story. Including the MGP midwives and the midwives at 1 South like Emily, Georgie, Serena, Maria, Mel and Melody.

Especially if there are higher-ups at MGP please let them know that Jacqui, Alison and Emma went above and beyond for me. Particularly Emma, honestly I believe she deserves an award or public recognition for everything she did for me during the pregnancy and afterwards too. I hope she knows that she made a real impact on our lives and I don’t know where we’d be without her. We’ve run out of words and cannot thank her enough.
