I joined the program to receive six weeks of antibiotic to eliminate any infection left in my body after three operations on my knee.
It was essential that I received this treatment, so was pleased that it began so quickly.
The program is administered from Swan Hill, but carried out by the District Nurses based at Kerang Health. A nurse comes every day to take observations, to check my dressing, and to change over the Baxter bottle of antibiotic.
The service I am receiving is outstanding: totally professional and friendly. They are always very well organised and keep a good eye on me.
It could not be better!
I would like to add that I have my dressing changed weekly at the Oncology Unit at KDH, and the service received is of the same excellent standard.
