"Care with Osborne Park hospital MAPS"

As the husband of a new mother using the services and the help of the midwives in Osborne Park hospital in WA, I want to say a big thank you and express my gratitude to the wonderful  Jo, the midwives and entire team who have helped us and are still helping us with care, support and valuable information.

From the check up appointments all the way through to the unscheduled birth at 3am, especially during the Optus outage with phones or systems working and home visits after birth. Our experience has been a very positive one.

Everyone we have engaged with has been very positive and very helpful. As a new father it's great to see that this MAPS is available because even when I wasn't able to attend an appointment or a home visit I knew that my wife was in good hands.

Congratulations on the birth of your baby and thank you so much for taking the time to share your story with us.

It’s lovely to hear how impressed you were with our Maternity Antenatal and Postnatal Service (MAPS) pilot program at Osborne Park Hospital (OPH). I am so pleased to hear how well supported your family felt with the care provided by the midwifery and medical teams. I’m sure that the OPH team, and Jo in particular, will be very pleased to hear how much their efforts are being appreciated.
