"Bike riding lessons"

About: Child Health Services - WACHS South West

(as the patient),

My son is hyper mobile and a very cautious personality. We could not convince him to even try riding his bike without training wheels. The Bunbury Clinical Development Services ran a school holiday bike riding clinic and it was a game changer for us. Having qualified staff who we told our son were “proper bike riding teachers” gave him the confidence to give it a go and he went from not being able to ride without training wheels to riding without training wheels in two weeks. After three weeks he can now push off on his own and is having the time of his life. Such a fantastic service, I can’t be more thankful.

Dear zulurr77,

Thank for you taking the time to provide some feedback regarding your experiences with participating in the bike group.

The Physiotherapy Team and Allied Health Assistants value the opportunity to work with families to support them to help their children to achieve a meaningful childhood milestone that allows them to join in with friends and family. It is great that the group could provide you with the opportunity to learn and develop in a fun interactive way.

It is very useful to hear feedback from parents as we can then ensure we are providing the services that make a difference for families.

We are lucky to have such dedicated and knowledgeable staff on our team. I will be sure to let them know your feedback.

All the best with your ongoing development journey with your child.

Yours sincerely,

Kirsten Bosich
