"MAPs midwifery program OPH"

January baby. I found that having an amazing midwife MAPs Erin from OPH by my side all the way through pregnancy and recovery post birth made all the difference! It was such a relief to know that there will be a person who truly knows me, my story and my body and who will be a constant all the way through this exciting journey. I believe pregnancy and childbirth is a time at a woman's life that brings many worries and uncertainties, and based on my experience having a dedicated medical professional who you can bond with and share trust with can feel truly life changing. It was one fewer thing to worry about.  It's my second baby and I didn't have the same opportunity of having one midwife first time around. I wish I did.  And I'm feeling privileged that this time I was lucky to take part in MAPs program- based on my experience I wish it was like that for every woman in the state. Thanks Erin.
