"My 83 year old mother had chest pains"

About: Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

My mother has a history of heart issues so when she complained of chest pains we were very worried and rushed her to the emergency room at Sydney hospital. The staff were incredibly kind and patient as my mother spoke no English and even provided a translator for her. They ran various tests to ensure her heart was healthy and eventually let us know it was a virus. They eased out concerns and let my mother go after she felt much better and her fever let up. In particular I want to thank nurse Sonal and Dr Tim for treating my mother so kindly and even providing us warm blankets while I waited for the results to come back. We left the emergency room almost 6 hrs later with my mother much better.
