"My experience was nothing less than spectacular!"

Extremely well looked after and cared for. Ulcer on toe was appraised by all relevant professionals. Attempts to save toe were in vain. When the decision to remove toe was made, all aspects of the procedure were explained clearly to me so l felt well informed, comfortable and confident. 

My medical history goes back through many short and long term visits, through considerably trying times and at every turn I found all staff I dealt with from reception to admission (including catering and cleaning members of staff) through to discharge treated me with respect and courtesy. 

My experiences have been nothing short of amazing!

For those who complain about the system, staff attitudes and wait times, I believe have likely not travelled enough to realise that our medical system is amongst the best in the world! I feel our people are the best in their field, in the best hospitals, in the best state, in the best country in the world in my opinion. And I believe they are doing it under extremely trying conditions. Not for the light hearted!

I feel these women and men are our modern day heroes and should be rewarded as such. We may lose some if we don’t look after each of them. My personal background is in delivering the ultimate in customer service.

I’m trained to train people in the art. I will point out that the essence of such service is that the customer feels better about themselves after the transaction. 

I reckon all the people attending to my needs just about nailed it!
