"Hospital In The Home program antibiotic treatment"

About: District Nursing Service (Kerang District Health) Kerang Hospital / Kerang Oncology Service

(as a service user),

This is a follow up review after having completed the HITH program via Kerang District Health. 

Each day one of the District Nurses continued to visit me at home to change the antibiotic bottle and to check my observations. 

As well I attended the Oncology Clinic weekly to have the required dressing changed under sterile conditions. 

The whole time I was being treated I felt I was receiving the best attention and treatment possible. 

And special mention to the Kitchen staff who daily delivered excellent treats to be eaten with the cup of coffee in Oncology.

Once again thank you for your kind feedback. I'm pleased that you felt that you received the best care and attention possible from our organization. Our staff endeavor to provide high quality care to every individual every time and it's pleasing that you noted the sterile conditions while your dressing was attended.

I agree, the kitchen staff do an amazing job of providing very tasty morning teas and meals to consumers utilizing the oncology department. They are a credit to our service and I will pass your feedback onto them.
