I just had my second baby through midwifery group practice and I wanted to create a coherent paragraph about how excellent the care I received was. But I have a new born and a toddler so that is beyond me. Here are the main points of why it was so great
- having the same midwife for all my appointments and care meant they knew me and my pregnancy really well
- I could talk to the same person about anything that concerned me which made it really easy to build trust
- whenever I had concerns I had a number I could call 24/7 for support and advice and talk to my own midwife
- the knowledge, skills and care of the midwives I saw was exceptional, the care we received couldn’t have been better
- all my appointments and care before labour took place not in the hospital which felt much more relaxed
- I was able to access all the other amazing services provided by KEMH such as physiotherapy, breastfeeding support.
Thank you so much to Emma, Paula and Mel for their exceptional care in bringing my sons into the world.
