"Dad able to stay in his own home"

About: Bunbury Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

My Dad had a bad fall and was in a next brace which was expected to stay on for around 3 months.

He was able to return home from Hospital after his fall with the help of some safety features put into his home.

The Hospital came around to dads house to assess where he might need help.

Everything was put into place and received all the help he/we needed in such a short time.

Can't thank them enough.

Dear nitrateyp75,

Many thanks for taking the time out of your day to provide this wonderful feedback. The hospital and community Allied Health teams take great pride in their work and always advocate for safe, quality patient care. I am glad the Physiotherapists were able to accommodate a suitable brace for your loved one and the Occupational Therapists were able to ensure the house was well set up for your dad’s discharge home. I will pass this lovely feedback onto the team who will be thrilled and hope your dad continues to make a speedy recovery in the community.

Kind regards,

Joanne
