"The amazing Prince of Wales COT Team"

My husband was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia in mid 2023 I remember the day they confirmed was on my birthday. We were so terribly upset. But what followed this crazy roller coaster ride was this feeling of how are we going to cope with this? Our long awaited holiday to see family cancelled. A new unexpected journey has begun!  Especially at the start was a nightmare,  just adjusting to this sudden impact on my husband and me.

But then ...what a blessing the Prince of Wales COT Team was !! 

Their presence in our lives  was what lifted me and my husband, The care, the empathy, the understanding, the help, the guidance the Prince of Wales COT Team gave us. And still extending ! He is undergoing ongoing treatment the the joy and happiness each one of the staff brings to us is just amazing. His specialist  Dr Anne what a great and kind person ! Always so bright and positive, it is such a pleasure to go for the appointments. She explains things clearly. I really feel the nurses who come to administer his medication and injections are absolutely wonderful. We are very fortunate to have you looking after us. We thank you so much. You don't know how much you have touched our lives.
