TV not working

About: Busselton Health Campus

(as a relative),

My sibling is an inpatient at the Busselton Health Campus and they are unfortunately quite frequently there. This time none of the TV's in the rooms were working and apparently have not been working for some time. My sibling is bed bound and relies heavily on the TV for their entertainment. 

I know this is very much a first world problem, but for them it is a big problem. Surely in this day and age of technology I feel it shouldn't be too hard to fix the problem.

I have to say though that I believe the nursing and medical care they are receiving is excellent and second to none. All the staff I have seen are wonderful and caring.

Please will you arrange to have the TV's fixed asap, I really don't want to have to refer this small problem to the Minister for Health.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We do have wonderful caring and dedicated staff here at Busselton Health Campus, so I am glad that your sibling is receiving great care.

In regard to the televisions, I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience that this is for your sibling and many of our patients. Please be reassured that the team are working really hard to rectify the problem. Unfortunately, the patient entertainment system we have is not just a television but has many other functions and is a complicated fix.

The repair of the system does remain a priority, and I have also escalated the need to ensure we have these back to full function as soon as possible.
